A Few Changes

In the first GASAKISM version, the language was defined by cookies. Now it'll be different, like you can see here the URL is gasakism.net/en. In the old system there was no "/en". The home and blog already are using this system, the games subsite isn’t because it will be a whole new site in a few days. ;)
Well, if you access the pages without the "/en", there is a language selection screen where you find our new mascot, who has no name yet. He will be present in a new game that is in development.

Like I’ve already announced last year, GASAKISM is being upgraded. The delay is because I do everything alone. Since The Scarlet Room's game release, in the end of 2007, till today, beginning of 2009, I’ve been improving my knowledge in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Flash, Actionscript, Java... Time to do all this and develop sites and games is not an easy task.
But the visitors want the results and, very soon, you’ll see it! I’ve put this blog online today, April 14th, 2009, to keep you up to date.
There is a lot of news coming up. Just wait.
The Scarlet Room - Episode II
12.12.08 by Gasaki at Games > The Scarlet Room
Finally, The Scarlet Room - Episode 2 is now available!
After the surprising feedback from the first episode, we read every single critics and suggestions before developing the sequel.
In the first The Scarlet Room game, some elements looked pointless, but, in The Scarlet Room - Episode 2, if you are minimalist, will notice some links. Everything you saw in the first game and will see in this one are pieces of a mysterious and conspiratory history that will be revealed over the games.
The challenge level of this Point and Click Room Escape game is high and, probably, it will be necessary the use of search engines to solve some puzzles. Think subjectively, sometimes what you are seeing is not the straight answer to the puzzle. If you get stuck in the beginning of the game, don’t give up, this is one of the hardest puzzles in the game.
I’ve already seen people who finished The Scarlet Room - Episode 2 in discussion about the history and the ending. Some had pretty interesting theories, some found out part of the tram, but there is a lot to discover. Some didn’t like the ending, but it is more complex than looks and you will notice it in the future.
Have fun and, once more, leave your critics and suggestions!
Could you escape without reading a walkthrough? ;) Enjoy!
We're working on it!

The Scarlet Room
11.28.07 by Gasaki at Games > The Scarlet Room
The Scarlet Room was the first game developed by GASAKISM team (one man team). It's a Room Escape Point and Click Puzzle game that carries a lot of elements found in the classic Toshimitsu Takagi’s games, the main inspiration for The Scarlet Room.
This first game was developed as an experiment, but it had a great positive feedback, what motivated us to go on with the series. The main idea was to mix classic elements from Escape Games and innovating puzzles. And it worked!
The challenge level is mid-high. (most of people who say it's easy, beat the game reading some walkthrough)
Have fun and leave your critics and suggestions!
